Yoga is an individual practice. It is noncompetitive and nonjudgmental. Yogis should listen to their bodies and do what is comfortable for them. Yogis may choose a different position or modified position from the one being demonstrated, and may rejoin the sequence when they are ready. Yogis may quietly leave class early if necessary.
  8. How will I know where to place my mat in the studio?
The instructor's mat is typically at the far end of the studio and centered. There are no assigned spots. Feel free to place your mat anywhere in front of the instructor's mat.
